What is Tumblr?
Tumblr is a site used for blog publishing. It is the 10th largest site for social networking. People all over the world blog for several different reasons. They want to share what goes on in their life with friends and family, preserve memories, and just share their interests. You can blog about anything your heart desires. People update daily with personal stories, pictures they have taken or found online, and any interesting news they have come to hear. Blogging is a way to interact with people who share the same interests as you, or even far off relatives who want to know what you are up to. Those are considered personal blogs. There are also cultural blogs where people talk about what is going on in the media, and business blogs where you can find out what is going on in the stock market or anything else business related. http://www.adobe.com/go/adc_css_layouts.

Features
Tumblr includes many features, such as a template system. It uses a template processor and you are able to re-arrange your template without even editing the PHP or HTML code. If you want to further your customizations, you can edit the PHP and HTML code and get your perfect layout. If you are not comfortable using HTML coding, you can easily choose from a variety of different templates from the “Theme Garden”. Tumblr allows you to tag your posts and articles, so anyone searching for that that same subject can easily find your posts. It is free, easy to use, and easy to edit. You can download an application on your android, iPod touch, iPhone, Windows Phone 7 as well as BlackBerry, and you can blog straight from your phone.
