Robert Tassone said “we need to
make a stand, at this point if we
just sit back prices will be raised and students will have to pay for it. If
we work together we can make a difference and let Mr. Charest know
that it’s unacceptable”.

On Thursday November 10 2011, students all over Quebec went on strike and did a walk out. Over 200,000 students protested against increase in student fees many colleges and universities were closed and fled the streets of the downtown area and marched and chanted against the increase in student fees.
