I got to start at the beginning, we came from France hockey there is not so much watch, so we didn’t know the rules. Our teacher of Multimedia presentation teach us the main rules. With a beautiful flash design, we learn the (hors jeu), the limit of the court and other rules but the biggest point was the fighting part. Well the best cours of my life. The Day of the hockey game finally arrived, at the Concordia sports complex. Arrive in the stadium a smell of ice, sweat and beer. That’s put us in the spirit. The Game was CONCORDIA vs McGill (I heard just before the game that we were for CONCORDIA). First period was was already started when we get there, score McGill 1 CONCORDIA 0. Second period getting back at our sits with a beer, the two team get back on the field, CONCORDIA scored a point, everybody screaming, applausing, clapping there hands ( I’m not over rating the truth!!! yeah I’m).Third period, BIM the two team scored, the both team starting to get irritates. Ending of the period, we were like “is it finish” and bruce said “fourth period” we were like YEAH. Fourth period starts, during like 2 minutes all the hockey player went right then left, then right then left…. AND CONCORDIA SCORED, everybody were screaming, clapping, whistling i even saw tears in Bruce’s eyes…. End of the game CONCORDIA WINS!!

There are probably very common in Canada but in France, they are very rare. In Canada, squirrels are everywhere in Canada, my first meet with them, my first day in Montreal at Vanier, was legen…wait for it…dady, legendary! Not interesting, no?

The first day.... Posted at 2011-12-18 08:01:05 by Cédric

The first day that we arrived in Montreal, which was friday August 12th, we went and visit St Catherine street. It was a beautiful day on that friday. We had initially went on St.Cathrine to discover the new city but to our surprise there was a gay parade. During the day I discovered a new culture, met new people and i told myself that the mentality of the Montrealers was completely different from my own. There were a lot of people that day in the middle of the streets, walking around very happily and jolly. I saw right away the kindness of everyone and that was when I realized that I was lucky to be here, and i would pass a great semester.

We were in october, the 2sd, at 6.30 am, I go on the bus leaving for a trip in 1000 islands, Toronto and Niagara falls.all goes well when, at 8 km of mille islands, the bus take the wrong way and trying at the last moment to catch up... But, too late, the bus bearing down on the crossing between the two ways. The driver shines, stops, and... is a reverse gear on the highway. We still are in a bad feeling when, 5 minutes after, the driver takes a little turn and scratch the whole right side of the bus with a stop sign from now lying. Everyone begins to doubt and we were right when 10 minutes after, we are lost. The driver tries to turn it back and BAM, the bus crashed on a house portal. We arrive in 1000 islands a little be late and we miss the boat.. The trip begins not well but it is so nice because Everyone talks about the problems of the bus, we met and some of them have been good party's companions during this semester in Canada

I arrived in Montreal Posted at 2011-12-18 08:04:17 by Karim

When I arrived in Montreal, I thought I would regret it. But the opposite happened and now I totally regret leaving. Montreal is a city completely different from Paris, people are more open, happy, smiling, and there is no place for boredom, even snow! Here I discovered another mentality, another way of life, that made me envious. In fact I'm pretty sure I want to go back one day.
